Aotea Hostel Iquique is part of the historical cultural heritage of Iquique, having been built in 1890, we wanted to maintain the history of our city by creating a new concept based on the experiences and needs of our own trips.

We created a Hostel with all the modernity of New Zealand and the typical-autochthonous of our beaches and heritage.

In our hostel you can find shared dormitories but without the inconvenience of losing your privacy. Yes! As you are reading, we offer the backpackers service, which consists of your private cabin with electricity, electrical connection (plug) and the comfort of the best rest and quality of real estate specially designed and made for your needs.

We also have the best environment, super relax, new and safe facilities, rest area with television and reception (living), pool (a beauty) and green areas with large common spaces, 5 shared bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen (7 kitchens electric, each with its own kitchen set so you do not have to wait your turn and you can cook! plus 7 dishwashers), free wifi connection, cable, 24 hour reception and security camera at the entrance of the hostel.

We also have the option of a quadruple room with a two-person cabin, for 4 people with a private bathroom.
